Book Review

Captain No Beard; An Imaginary Tale of a Pirate’s Life by Carole P. Roman

Disclosure; I received this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Once again, Carole P. Roman has managed to delight me and my kids! Connor prefers this book over Michael & Rosalie absolutely loves looking at the pictures & having big brothers read to her! The pictures are bright and colorful.

I really enjoy reading Carol P. Roman’s books. They all prove to teach a lesson to kids, in my opinion! I think this book is more of an introductory book, introducing the readers to Captain No Beard & his crew of pirates, however, I do think this book teaches a little bit of team work, with First Mate Hallie almost falling overboard into the tossing sea, during a storm!

Overall, I would recommend this book to any child, especially children who enjoy reading & learning about pirates!
