~Welcome to The Silk Lotus~
The food is hot, the drinks are cold, and your waitress is losing her shit.

They say adulting is hard.
Well, they’re right.
It’s hard because an adult needs to possess both mental and emotional maturity in order to make sane decisions.
I have neither of those qualities.
I’m Tabitha Hirsch, and I’m the idiot virgin who participated in a clinical drug trial for a pill claiming to ‘enhance every woman’s libido’. (Don’t judge. You’d do it too for the right price.)
I’m also the idiot who got stuck in an elevator with an insanely hot man mere minutes after imbibing said drug.
I won’t bore you with the details, but let’s just say mistakes were made. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned in all my twenty-eight years on earth, it’s that your mistakes never truly leave you.
This fact is now abundantly clear, seeing as how one of my biggest mistakes is walking through the doors of The Silk Lotus, my home away from home and place of employment, and there’s nowhere to hide.
Dressed in a hand-tailored business suit, he looks like he’s ready to sweep in and make all my wildest dreams come true.
Problem is, I still haven’t got the hang of this whole adulting business, so more bad decisions are bound to be made…

Review

I did not want to put this book down from the time I started it until the time I finished it. Admitting that it took me 7 days to completely finish it isn’t something I want to do, but that’s the truth. It’s definitely NOT because I didn’t want to, but the business that I do that makes me money came out with a kick butt deal and I had to promote that. The characters in this book were so easy to relate to, and I just loved them. Of course, I liked Tabitha, and I absolutely applaude her for participating in a clinical trial because though I have thought about it, I’ve never been that brave. One thing I have always said I wouldn’t do is date or marry a twin, and you’ll learn why I’ve always said I wouldn’t do that later in the book. To say that I felt sorry for Harvey was an understatement, but then I wanted to smack the living crap out of him also, because he treated Tabitha like absolute horse crap. As soon as I finished Egg Drop Souls, I messaged Catherine wanting to know when Kung Pao Cuddles would be available. I’m not normally a huge fan of reading the first chapter of the next book in the series that’s in the back of books, but I did on this one. I can NOT wait until it’s available and I’m happy to announce that she has a pre-order link up already!
