They say size doesn’t matter…
Football star and internet sensation Gavin “Anaconda” Adams is the biggest celebrity our little town has ever seen.
But I had no idea who he was when I accidentally walked in on him naked.
I was shocked, seeing all of him, a cocky grin on his face. I didn’t know what to do.
So I ran.
Now I’m in a world of trouble. No matter what I do, I can’t get that image out of my head. His strong muscular thighs. His washboard abs. His big, throbbing, toe-curling… Jesus!
To make matters worse, Gavin wants a date with me. He’s seen the lust in my eyes, and he’s not taking no for an answer. I should tell him to get lost. He’s nothing but trouble, and he’s only here for a week.
But with one look, I go weak in the knees. And whenever I hear his deep, rich voice, I feel my defenses crumbling.
It’s only one night. What could it hurt?
Anaconda is a full-length Sexy Romantic Comedy with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger!
Anaconda is the first book in the Irresistible Bachelors series by Lauren Landish and I believe the first book of hers that I have read. You can purchase the book for only $0.99 on Amazon or do like I did and read it for free on Kindle Unlimited!!
I really enjoyed this book. There were a few moments where I seriously laughed out loud. I liked Brianna’s best friend, Mindy. She is the kind of friend I would want, if I were single. Her one liners were great. I’ve read some reviews that people are saying she was too crude for them, but she was hilarious. I can’t wait to read her story, Mr. Fiancé!
I am sure it’s not hard to figure out why Gavin Adams has been nicknamed Anaconda! One small, or not so small 😉, mishap with a towel in a men’s locker room after his football game where he bumped into a reporter that caused his towel to drop, along with a video Grapher that she had with her, and the whole world has seen his Anaconda, along wits the entire Internet, and they won’t let him forget the ordeal.
If you have read some of my reviews in the past, you will know that when I am going on a trip just a car for an extended period of time, I read. I can normally start and finish a book in the 5-6 hour trip it takes to get to my Grandparents house. Anaconda is the book I chose on that trip yesterday and I think I started it around 9am and finished it around 10pm last night.
One thing I didn’t see mentioned in some of the reviews I read is that this book is written from both Brianna and Gavin perspectives. I enjoy books that are written in dual perspectives like that. As with your typical romance, there is angst, accusations, and misunderstandings but you do finally finished out the book with a happy ever after and NO cliffhanger! I don’t necessarily mind cliffhanger books but I do like a nice happily ever after.
Thankfully this entire series is on Kindle Unlimited, and I have already downloaded Mindy’s story, Mr. Fiancé and will start it soon.
